We work on an Ex Works basis with all our export customers, which allows you to choose the best option for you. We have a number of experienced shippers based out of the UK who have vast knowledge of shipping all types of products globally. We have a dedicated in-house export administrative team who will manage all the shipping documents with your chosen shippers, as well as provide all the information for the importing of Cleenol products. We can arrange shipping by container or groupage to any international market, and we are actively looking for distributors in countries where we do not yet have representation. Our Legacy of Family Values Cleenol, a private family-owned company tracing its roots to the 1700s, originated as a timber business in the West Midlands. Evolving with the times, it ventured into canal-related industries, from supplying timber to becoming boat builders and coal merchants during the canal's heyday. During World War II, Cleenol's chemical journey began when the Foster family, then operating in Birmingham, supplied coal to the Shell Chemical Company. In response to wartime soap shortages, Shell developed Teepol, the first washing up liquid. The success of Teepol led to the birth of Cleenol, as Mr. Neville Foster pioneered its production and expansion. From Birmingham to Leamington Spa and later Banbury, Cleenol's market presence expanded nationally by 1975 and internationally in the 1980s. By 2000, Cleenol's products reached over 40 countries, a testament to its global recognition for quality.

We’ve all done it, walked into a washroom, taken one sniff and immediately wanted to head straight back out. Why is it that the men’s restroom always seems ten times worse? Bad odours in washrooms aren’t just unpleasant - they leave a lasting impression on your customers, staff, and visitors. A clean, fresh-smelling toilet can genuinely elevate someone’s experience of your business (yes, even the loo can impact customer satisfaction!). Here’s the thing, most of the time, the fix for that dreaded “urinal stink” isn't always as easy as spraying some heavily perfumed air freshener or using up a bottle of toilet cleaner, the problem starts from begin. Why don't 'traditional' cleaning products do the job? In homes, where toilets are used far less frequently, regular cleaning products usually do the job. But in high-traffic environments, these products often only hide the issue rather than resolving it. Persistent urinal odours typically stem from a build-up of uric scale, bacteria, and crystallisation deep within pipework and drainage systems. Traditional urinal blocks rely on strong fragrances to cover up smells, so while the area may seem fresh at first, the real problem remains — and continues to grow over time. This is why you need to use more effective products, like enzymes to fix the real issue from within. Private / Own Label Customers - Friday 21st November Irish / Channel Island Customers - Friday 5th December UK Mainland Customers - Wednesday 10th December Local Customers - Tuesday 16th December We will not be operating or delivering orders between Christmas and New Year. Our last day trading before Christmas is Tuesday 23rd December . All deliveries will return to normal from 5th January 2026 . Last day for delivery before Christmas is Friday 19th December .
